Two goals in a blistering first ten minutes settled the Under 14 County Trophy Final in Heckmondwike's favour.
 

Although Pudsey went on to dominate much of the second half, they never recovered from the shock of the opening minutes when they looked like being swamped as Heckmondwike poured on the pressure.

Luke Tibble was forced into a great save in the opening minute but the Pudsey keeper could do nothing as Jon Jo Keogh latched onto the half clearance to fire the opening goal into the bottom corner.
 
Pudsey were under severe pressure and when Craig Bentley doubled Heckmondwike's advantage minutes later the Leeds side needed to find some inspiration to avoid a rout. 
 
Thankfully, they found it and, for the rest of the game, they gave as much as they got but neither side were able to carve out a clear goal scoring chance until deep into the second period when, although both keepers were forced into action, tired legs led to near misses and Heckmondwike hung on for victory.
