| Bradford Park Avenue are hoping to turn their
long and distinguished past into a long and distinguished
future and West Riding County FA Vice President Albert Dent
was at the clubs Horsfall Stadium in March to mark the the
first step into the future by presenting Park Avenue with the
FA's Charter Standard Award. |

| The club, which is hoping to
regain Football League status after a break of some 40 years, is
looking to the future with the help of its rapidly expanding Junior
Section. |

| Junior Secretary, Gary
Broadhead, is optimistic "The club came to realize the
importance of having a youth setup, so nearly four years ago we
formed a junior section of three teams from the local area. |
| Two years ago when our last mini
soccer team went to 11-a-side we put various advertisements in the
local schools, supermarkets and also the local paper and got enough
youngsters to start up an u6, u7 and u8 teams which played in the
Huddersfield Junior League". |

| At the end of last season
another local club, who were having difficulties and were
about to disband, asked if they could join the Park Avenue set
up the club and now has teams in most age groups and also two all
girl teams. |

| The club are constantly looking
to expand and welcome new players & coaches to enjoy being part
of Park Avenue's bright future |

| Gary continued "I would
like to take this opportunity to thank all the Managers and Parents
who have worked so hard in setting up the club and attaining Charter
Standard and not forgetting the players who are proud to wear the
Avenue Colours" |
