CHARTER STANDARD

Killinghall Nomads

Killinghall Nomads Junior FC are the latest West Riding Club to gain Charter Standard accreditation and the WR County FA's Andrew Shuttleworth and Harrogate FA Chairman Keith Hill visited the Harrogate club recently to present the award

The scheme, now recognised as essential to the future of any club, is a core component of The FA Football Development programme and opens the door to opportunities and funding which is unavailable to other clubs.

Chris Dixon, Killinghall Nomads club chairman, commented...

"‘We are very pleased to receive the Charter Standard Award and to join the group of Clubs in the Harrogate area who are striving to raise standards for Junior Football"

Keith Hill also said...
"The Harrogate FA are pleased that yet another of the local Junior Clubs have achieved Charter Standard.   The commitment of the Club and its officials to achieve and maintain Charter Standard will ensure quality coaching and standards will be raised for all the junior members"

Pictured above are officials and players of the club which include boys, girls and sportability teams aged from 7 up to 17 who all play in the Harrogate & District Junior Football League.
