Secretary Roy Carter presents the Charter Standard award to

|
|
| Formed in 1988 Linthwaite JFC have struggled
to keep the club together in recent years but now, with a new
Committee and and the FA Charter Standard award the club is
looking to a brighter future |

Secretary Chris Hanley explains...
"As a club we have managed to keep things running smoothly even
though we've had lots of things to contend with like no base or
clubhouse and some of the worst pitches in the Huddersfield
area" |
|
| |
|
|
| |
But Hanley is now hopeful of better
things to come |
|
| |
"Last season a new committee was
formed and after working hard over the summer months to get things
in place we have just received notice that we have achieved the FA
Charter Standard. Now, hopefully, we will be able to move the
club forward and unite in one place by getting our own pitches,
clubhouse and changing rooms" |
