Skipton Town

|
| SKIPTON TOWN JUNIORS have joined the ever
growing band of Charter Standard Clubs and do not plan to stop
there. |
| |
| The Club currently has just one team at under 16
playing in the Craven, Aire and Wharfe Junior League but will
soon be launching a Girls Football Section through involvement
with the Kickstart Scheme currently in operation at the
neighbouring Sandylands All Weather facility. |

| |
Further expansion plans include
introducing at least one new age group for 2006-07. The Club
also has representation on the Craven Football Development Forum and
is committed to helping deliver the aims of the Forum's Development
Plan. |

| |
Receiving the award on behalf of the
club, Secretary and Child Welfare Officer, Ian Longden said he was
delighted to accept the award and was excited at the prospect of the
club being able to provide increased opportunities for the Town's
youngsters and paid tribute the the clubs Committee and Volunteers
for their help in gaining the award. |
