County FA Football Development Officer, Andrew Shuttleworth (above
right), presented Tingley Tigers with their Charter Standard award in
June and the club marked the occasion by holding their first ever
football gala day.

25 teams from around the Leeds area took part throughout the two age
groups.
The U8’s final between Tingley Tigers and Gildersome Spurs, was
a great game of football by two excellent teams. In a close game,
Gildersome Spurs took their chances to win the U8’s tournament.
In the U11’s final it was Hemsworth Terriers against Garforth
Rangers, the standard of football by both teams was superb, again in
a close game it was Garforth Rangers who came away champions.
Tingley Tigers are looking for players in Years 1 to 6 for their
