All members of FACA will be aware of the requirement to be
committed to ongoing learning, through a range of complementary
activities, delivered through FA Learning, County Football Associations,
1st4Sport approved centres, or other approved partners.
Attendance of any Coaching Qualification is the starting
point for continued learning, and we are sure you will agree there are now
comprehensive opportunities and resources in place to support FACA members
to increase and develop their footballing knowledge.
The ‘Refresher matrix’ indicates the minimum required
CPD hours for each Level of qualification.
Calling all UEFA ‘B’ Licence, UEFA ‘A’ Licence
and Pro Licence Holders
In accordance with FACA and UEFA requirements, all Level
3, 4, and 5 coaches are required to complete the CPD requirement with
effect from the period 1 January 2007 - 1 January 2010. Your attendance at
appropriate training will be tracked and recorded through use of the FA
Learning Course Management system, therefore all courses, and
registrations will be centralised through FA Learning, or its appointed
personnel.
Calling all Level 1 and Level 2 Coaches
In accordance with FACA requirements, all current holders
of the Level 1 and 2 Certificates in Coaching will be required to complete
the CPD elements with effect from 1 June 2007 – 1 January 2010. The
process for evidencing and tracking your attendance of CPD activities will
be shared with all members prior to the 01 June 2007 threshold.
All coaches will see, that there are two mandatory fields
required in Levels 1, 2 and 3 therefore you are required to select
additional activities to fulfil the CPD requirements for your appropriate
level.
We are confident that the CPD opportunities outlined
reflect our commitment to working towards the UK Coaching Certificate
requirements of fulfilling a Licensed Coach Scheme over the next few
years. This will ensure that all FACA members become both ‘Licensed’
and ‘In date’, thereby enhancing the status of a ‘qualified coach’. |
