The FA’s new Welfare Officer
Workshop is designed to support the crucial group of football volunteers
that are central to making football a fun and safe game for all young
players.

These workshops have been
developed to support and give guidance to the Club Welfare Officers in
every club, on issues such as:

- The qualities needed to be a Club Welfare Officer
- Recent legislation
- The roles of Statutory Agencies
- The categorisation of cases
|
|
|
The workshops pre-requisites are:
|
|
|
- Attendee must be the Club Welfare Officer
- Attendee must hold an enhanced CRB Disclosure via
The FA CRB Unit
- Attendees must hold a current FA Safeguarding
Children certificate
