The project, which was organised by St Mary's Partnership Development Manager Richard Chattoe, Guiseley Juniors and West Riding County FA's Football Development Department, reached approximately 120 young people and resulted in a new under 10 boys and under 11 girls teams being established by Guiseley AFC Juniors.

Six local primary schools received two coaching sessions delivered by Level 2 coach Ian Ingle and additional sessions took place at the clubs ground. Every young person involved in the project was invited to a festival at the home of Guiseley AFC and the day was a fantastic success.

In addition Ian Ingle mentored no fewer than seven sixth form students from St Mary’s College through the FA’s Level 1 Coaching Certificate and they were on hand to pass on their newfound knowledge to the youngsters during the morning coaching clinics.

A total of 11 coaches from Guiseley AFC Juniors have also passed their Level 1 Certificate.
