West Riding Girls League is still going from strength to strength with over 2000 girls and women playing each week. An in-service training programme has been developed to help support managers, coaches and volunteers, which include funding, school club link workshops and coaching demonstrations.

Girls Centres of Excellence are licensed through professional clubs and County FA’s, with provision based on the local population. Standards of coaching and administration are set by football's governing body, with players selected at trials organised each summer.
