Communities United Project is a registered Charity that utilises the popularity of sport and recreational activities such as dance, drama and DJ workshops as a means of engaging young people in positive activities.
 

Due to increased popularity and success of CUP we wish to appoint an

 

Activity Development Coordinator (2 posts)

Salary: £22,293 (initially funded for 2 years)

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic person to help us deliver and develop our activity programmes for young people.

The successful candidate will have recent experience in creating and implementing community sports/ recreation programmes, a recent working background in community / sports development and will hold at least one Level 2 NGB coaching qualification.

Enthusiastic, confident and motivated with excellent communication skills you will have experience of managing a staff team and a commitment to and understanding of equal opportunities, child protection guidance and Health & safety.

You will have an understanding of issues relating to socially excluded groups and have the ability to be flexible as you will be required to work some unsociable hours, including some evenings and weekends.
