This will involve working strategically
with key agencies e.g. County Sports Partnerships, Local Authorities,
Local Education Authorities, Schools, Local Leagues and Clubs.
The successful candidate will be of
likely graduate calibre, have completed the FA Six Step Tutor
Recruitment process to enable delivery of the First for Sport Level 1
Coaching Football Course and have a sound knowledge and experience of
sports development. You will need to be passionate about and
committed to the development of grassroots football. Candidates must
demonstrate both team working skills and the ability to work
unsupervised and on their own initiative. Experience of managing
projects/events to demonstrate sound organisation and planning skills
is required. Excellent communication, presentation and IT skills will
be expected.
Applicants must hold a full driving licence and be able to work
some evenings and weekends.
This post is initially for a three year fixed term period with a
view to it being extended.
