The post holder will be
responsible for working within the 4 Local Authority Areas of
Calderdale, Harrogate, Selby & Craven and will also be the Leading Officer for the
delivery of the County
FA’s Inclusion Programme.
To apply you need to be of graduate calibre and have experience in
sports development and have an understanding of the FA’s National
Game Strategy, as well as experience working within inclusion projects
focusing on disability sport development or increasing ethnic minority
participation in sport.
You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of
football at a local level. You must be able to work under
pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate both team working and the
ability to work unsupervised.
Candidates should also have excellent interpersonal / communication
/ presentation skills.
Applicants must hold a full driving licence and be able to work
some evenings and weekends.
This post is initially for a three year fixed term period until
30th June 2011
with a view to it being extended.
