Mini-Soccer Referee Course |

Mini
Soccer is the version of football for players under the age of 10 years.
It has its own Laws of the Game, which are similar to, but different
from, mainstream 11-a-side football. |

It
is extremely popular: about a third of youth football (i.e. soccer for
people under the age of 18 years) takes the form of Mini Soccer. CLICK

At
the moment, there is no specific Mini Soccer Referee qualification.
Although the West Riding County FA can provide a specific Mini Soccer
Seminar for parents and club officials, etc., who regularly officiate in
Mini Soccer. |

The Mini Soccer Seminar whilst not leading to a refereeing
qualification, outlines the philosophy of Mini Soccer and the importance
of understanding the needs of children in football. The Course covers
the role of the Referee in Mini Soccer and the Laws of Mini Soccer.
The Mini Soccer Laws of the Game Course is of two hours duration and
is normally held on one evening. There is no examination but candidates
will receive an Attendance Certificate.
Mini Soccer Laws of the Game Training Courses are arranged in
conjunction with local providers of Mini Soccer as and when demand
requires.
