A Marcus Edwards goal got West Riding off to a flying start with
Adam Zagajewski netting the second after the
Durham
keeper had tipped an initial shot onto the crossbar.
Luke Gibson completed the scoring for the first half with a
blistering shot from outside the area.
Durham were unable to change the course of the game after the
re-start and when Edwards doubled his tally to make it 0-4 to West
Riding there was no way back for the home side.
West Riding have a bye in the first round of this year’s cup competition and
will travel to meet the winners of the
Cheshire
v Northumberland which is set to be decided on 6th October at
Macclesfield
Town.
The remaining fixtures in Division 1 of the Northern Counties see
