West Riding's under 18's hit top form when they entertained
the Manchester FA at the County Ground on Saturday 20 October |

Jonathan Webb opened the scoring on 15 minutes when he
climbed above the Manchester defence to head home a free kick and West
Riding soon held a two goal cushion when Webb fired home his second two
minutes later. |

With the home side dominating the game, the Manchester
defence did well to keep the deficit to two but their reliance on the off
side trap was always likely to come undone and, with the keeper committed,
Marcus Edwards had time to spare as he tapped the ball into an empty net
to give West Riding a comfortable 3-0 half time lead. |

|
Edwards netted his second of the game soon after the re-start with a delicate
chip to leave the Manchester keeper no chance and captain Paddy Miller
scrambled home West Riding's fifth.
|

|
|
|
Following the 4-0 victory over Durham. the West Riding couldn't have hoped for
a better start but there will surely be sterner tests to come.
